Education:

• BSc. Pharmacy, Howard University College of Pharmacy, Washington DC
• Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D), Howard University College of Pharmacy, Washington DC

Current Role & Interests:

•  Practicing Clinical pharmacist with about 20 years of experience in Pharmacy, Consulting, and Management.  Some of his experiences include;
  • Knowledge of unit dose distribution and IV sterile products with working knowledge of order entry
  • Preparation and supervision of all sterile IV products or solutions as well as non-sterile compounding.
  • Educating other members of the healthcare team
  • Pharmacokinetic dosing and monitoring of special medication classes with narrow therapeutic window.
  • Ensuring the safe and effective use of prescription and non-prescription medications to increase the probability of desired patient’s outcome.
  • Counseling patients or caregivers on appropriate prescription and non-prescription medication use.
  • Preparing medication utilization evaluation criteria, adverse drug reports, newsletters and participating in formulary committees
  • Drug information service.
